Nursing practice exam results published

22 January 2009

We mailed out results for the Level 3 Practical exams yesterday by first class post to the 238 student VNs who sat the exam last November. With 69% of entrants succeeding, the pass rate was almost identical to winter 2007.

Results can be viewed and downloaded from the examination results page.  Please note that only the names of the successful candidates will be on the lists.

Congratulations to all student VNs who have passed the Level 3 Practical and Theory exams.  You will receive your NVQ level 3 Certificates from your Veterinary Nurse Approved Centre (VNAC).

Once you have your certificate - and as long as you have completed 3290 hours of training at an Approved Training Practice (or Practices) - you can list as a Veterinary Nurse and join the RCVS Register of Veterinary Nurses.

Registration does not happen automatically. We send out registration forms to all newly-qualified nurses, however you need return these to us, along with your registration fee, to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

More information about registering can be found on Registering as a newly qualified nurse.
