VN practical exam results published
22 January 2010
We mailed out results for the Level 3 Practical exams on Wednesday by first class post to the 352 student VNs who sat the exam last November. Of these, 348 candidates took the small animal option, and four candidates the equine. With 64% of candidates succeeding, the pass rate was similar to November 2008.
Results can be viewed and downloaded from the examination results page. Please note that only the names of the successful candidates will be on the lists.
Congratulations to all those who passed. You will receive your NVQ level 3 Certificates from your Veterinary Nurse Approved Centre (VNAC).
Once you have your certificate – and as long as you have completed 3290 hours of training at an Approved Training Practice (or Practices) – you can List as a veterinary nurse and join the RCVS Register of Veterinary Nurses.
Registration does not happen automatically. We send out registration forms to all newly-qualified nurses, however you need return these to us, along with your registration fee, to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
More information about registering can be found on the VN registration page.
