Help shape the profession's future at the next RCVS Regional Meeting
28 November 2003
The RCVS will be hosting another two Regional Meetings early next year. On Tuesday 27 January 2004 Professor Richard Halliwell and his team of Officers will be in Sheffield at The Royal Victoria Holiday Inn. The next day, Wednesday 28 January 2004, they travel south to the Potter's Heron Hotel in Ampfield near Romsey.
These meetings are an important opportunity to meet the RCVS Officers in an informal atmosphere and discuss local issues as well as issues currently shaping the veterinary profession. The meetings in January will focus on the Practice Standards Scheme, the new Veterinary Surgeons Act and the Competition Commission's recommendations.
A buffet meal is provided from 7:00pm. The meeting itself starts at 8:00pm and ends at approximately 10:00pm. Invitations will be sent out to members within reasonable travelling distance of the venue but all members as well as veterinary nurses and practice managers are very welcome to attend.
Join us for a bite to eat on the above dates and give us your views on how to structure a veterinary profession that meets the growing demands of the profession and society in general.
To book a place please contact Ian Holloway at the RCVS on 020 7202 0727 or e-mail on [email protected]. Invitations (complete with maps) can also be downloaded below. Once you have completed the reply slip, please post it to the address supplied on the invitation or fax it to Ian Holloway on 020 7202 0740.
We look forward to seeing you in January.
