Register now for Question Time in Kendal
25 September 2006
A few places are still available for RCVS Question Time in Cumbria on Tuesday 7 November. For the opportunity to discuss issues affecting the future of the veterinary profession with the RCVS Officer team, please register by Monday 16 October.
Held at the Castle Green Hotel, Kendal, RCVS Question Time is a chance for veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses to meet in an informal, relaxed atmosphere to debate and discuss hot topics. The evening will kick-off at 7:00pm with a buffet and a glass of wine, followed by the BBC Question Time-style debate, chaired by RCVS President Sheila Crispin.
Guests are invited to submit questions beforehand, but likely topics for discussion include the provision of veterinary services in rural areas, the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, veterinary nurse training and future regulation, a new Veterinary Surgeons Act and the RCVS Professional Development Phase.
Veterinary surgeons and Listed veterinary nurses living within an hour or so of the venue have been invited personally, but the event is open to any practice staff who may be interested in attending.
Places are still available, so if you would like to attend the Question Time meeting, please contact Fiona Clark in the Communications Department on 020 7202 0773. Please also bring your question with you on the night.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, but have a question you would like to raise, please do write in. Feedback from the meeting will be available on RCVSonline a few weeks after the meeting.
