Question Time heads to Cambridge

The RCVS Officer team will be travelling to Cambridge for the first Question Time meeting of the year, which will be held on Thursday 1 March.  Local vets and veterinary nurses will have the opportunity to put their questions to RCVS Officers and discuss with colleagues the issues affecting the future of the profession.

Held at the Royal Cambridge Hotel, RCVS Question Time gives members of the veterinary profession the chance to meet in an informal, relaxed atmosphere and debate hot topics.  

The evening will kick-off at 6:30pm with a buffet and a glass of wine, followed by the BBC Question Time-style debate, chaired by RCVS President Sheila Crispin.

Guests are invited to submit questions beforehand, but likely topics for discussion include the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, a new Veterinary Surgeons Act, the provision of veterinary services in rural areas, veterinary nurse training and future regulation and the RCVS Professional Development Phase.

Veterinary surgeons and Listed veterinary nurses living within an hour or so of the venue have been invited personally, but the event is open to any practice staff who may be interested in attending.
