Question Time travels to Nottingham
17 January 2008
Members of the veterinary profession will have the opportunity to put their questions to the RCVS Officer team at the first Question Time meeting of the year, to be held in Nottingham on Thursday 13 March.
Veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and practice staff are all invited to the meeting to debate current issues affecting the veterinary profession, which will take place at The Village Hotel, Nottingham.
The evening will start at 6:30pm with a drink and a bite to eat and the chance to catch up with colleagues, followed by Question Time at 7:30pm. RCVS President Bob Moore will be chairing the meeting and answering questions from the floor, along with the Officer team and VN Council members. The meeting will finish at approximately 10:00pm.
Topics expected to be raised on the night include the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, a new Veterinary Surgeons Act, modular certificates, the RCVS Professional Development Phase and the new non-statutory Register for veterinary nurses.
To reserve a place at Question Time, please contact Fiona Clark in the Communications Department on 020 7202 0773 before 29 February, or download an invitation and post it to the address supplied. All veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses living within reasonable travelling distance of the meeting venue will be sent a personal invitation.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, but have a question you would like to raise, please do write in.
The next meeting is planned for Thursday 22 May near Yeovil. Details will be available on RCVSonline shortly.
