RCVS publishes Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2022

26 June 2023

We have now published our Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2022, detailing key strategic achievements throughout the year.

The Annual Report (available to download from our Publications page) includes information on how, in 2022, how we delivered on the actions contained within the four key ambitions (clarity, compassion, confidence and courage) of our 2020 to 2024 Strategic Plan.

These include, for example: the launch of the RCVS Academy; significant reforms to the RCVS concerns investigation process; the publication of the Workforce Action Plan and guidance for universities on supporting Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic veterinary students; the ongoing work on new under care guidance; the development of new sustainability standards for the Practice Standards Scheme; and the purchase of a new future headquarters for the RCVS.

In addition, the Report contains an update from our charity partner RCVS Knowledge, details of our financial management policies, and an independent auditor’s report on the College.

The Annual Report and Financial Statements 2022 will be formally adopted by RCVS Council at its Annual General Meeting on Friday 7 July at One Great George Street. Veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses are able to submit questions about the Annual Report. Subject to time, these will be answered by the College on the day, or followed up in writing after the event.

Questions should be emailed to Deborah Rowlanes, our Events Manager, on [email protected] no later than 5pm on Tuesday 4 July. Details on how to register to attend the event can be found on Royal College Day's dedicated Eventbrite page.
