RCVS Question Time: last chance to book your place

23 May 2005

There is still time to book a place at RCVS Question Time this week in Aberdeen and Newcastle. Join RCVS President John Parker and his team of Officers on Wednesday 25 May and Thursday 26 May respectively.

Playing the part of David Dimbleby, John Parker will be chairing a panel to answer questions on important and topical veterinary issues, such as the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, a new Veterinary Surgeons Act, medicines, VN training and 24-hour emergency cover.

The evenings will begin with a buffet supper at 7.00pm at the Thistle Aberdeen Hotel and the Gosforth Park Hotel in Newcastle, where there will be a chance to chat informally with RCVS Officers, staff and local veterinary surgeons. Question Time will start at 8.00pm.

Reminder letters have been sent today to all veterinary surgeons within reasonable travelling distance of the venues, and all veterinary nurses and other members of the veterinary practice team will also be very welcome to attend.

However, it is essential to reserve a place at the meeting so, if you would like to attend, please contact Danielle van den Berg in the External Affairs Department on 020 7202 0766.

Have your say. Join the Debate.
