RCVS visiting South Wales and the West Country in March
11 February 2003
The RCVS Officers will be hosting two evening Regional Meetings in South Wales and the West Country in March. Join them at the Plough Inn at Rhosmaen in Llandeilo on Tuesday 18 March 2003 or at the Hilton Hotel in Bath on Wednesday 19 March 2003.
In order to encourage open discussion, there is no formal agenda. However, suggested items for discussion might include Veterinary Surgeons Act consultation, veterinary nurse training and Competition Commission inquiry as well as any other items of concern that members may have, including local issues.
These meetings are an excellent opportunity to discuss important veterinary and veterinary nursing issues with RCVS Officers in an informal atmosphere. Officers will listen to the issues raised and try to resolve them, either at the meeting, or through further consideration by RCVS Committees and Council.
A buffet meal is provided from 7pm so anyone working late need not miss their evening meal to attend. The actual meeting commences at 8pm and ends at approximately 10pm. All members are welcome and those invited are encouraged to bring along any colleagues, veterinary nurses or practice managers who would also like to attend the meeting. Invitations are sent to members within reasonable travelling distance of the venues.
We look forward to seeing you at our Regional Meetings in March.
